The Robe of Estate she wore during the second part of the ceremony and as she left the Abbey had a straight or square hem, but Queen Elizabeth II’s 1953 Robe of State, which she wore as she entered the Abbey and which required four pages to carry, had a rounded hem. The new train she has been wearing since the first State Opening of Parliament in 2023 is shorter; she now only needs two pages, and it is straight or square at the end. You can see this best when she is seated on the throne and the train lies on the carpet to her right.  Previous Message I recall Camilla's train for the coronation was square at the end.
