Hello Nellie, Allan Barton has a good entry on YouTube on it. He is always well researched and very knowledgeable when it comes to the English robes, crowns and coronation rituals. 
Previous Message Previous MessageAfter the new parliamentary robe for Queen Camilla last year King Charles III has debuted his new robes as well. Unlike the old ones the inner lining is of white silk but not of ermine.
The king has worn for his coronation and previous openings of parliament the robes of his grandfather. Camilla until last year wore those of her mother-in-law.
Johan - are you able to provide a source for that information about the robes for the King and Queen please?
