A busy schedule for the King and Queen of the Netherlands this month, with two state visits in barely ten days. First, we see the state visit of the German Federal President from June 9 to 11. According to the Royal House website, the Princess of Orange will be present alongside the Queen.

From June 17 to 19, we then see the state visit of Their Imperial Majesties the Emperor and Empress of Japan. According to the Royal House website, the following ladies will be present at the state banquet at the Royal Palace in Amsterdam alongside the Queen and the Empress: Princess Beatrix, Princess Margriet, the Princess of Orange, Princess Laurentien and finally Princess Ariane, who will then make her tiara debut.

I express the hope that Princess Alexia will also be present. How wonderful it would be to admire all the princesses in tiaras during this special state visit.
