Mathilde’s wedding gift tiara (Laurel wreath) is much more substantial than the dainty Edwardian tiara Elisabeth was gifted. Perhaps Eleonore has also received a modest Edwardian tiara. They can be acquired for a relatively modest price as there’s no real market for them and the intrinsic value is low. We have also see two of them bought for Mary in Denmark and three in Belgium so far. None are spectacular.

Not only Princess Elisabeth but also Prince Gabriel, Prince Emmanuel and Prince Eleonore will attend the State banquet. Also Princess Astrid and Prince Lorenz as Prince Laurent and Princess Claire

This suggests that the Duchess of Brabant will be in some way involved with the State Visits! That is excellent news, so thanks for letting us know. Now we can just cross our fingers and hope that this also means that she will at least attend the evening event that is the State Banquet. Previous Message
