Only the House Diamonds have been really reserved for the Queen. All other jewels have been worn by Princesses. Not that the sapphires are to be expected for the two State Banquets of this month.

Amalia has already worn the Peacock Tiara and Mellerio Tiara which are not small. Like her mother she loves jewels. I think the Sapphire, Ornate Pearl and House Diamond Tiaras will remain off limit but all the other pieces are fair game. However as a bridal tiara the Ornate Pearl Tiara might come in handy someday... Previous Message

It will be the largest and surely a marvellous display of Dutch tiaras since 2013 when Beatrix hosted the guests for the investiture of WA. It shows how close the bond with the Emperor and Empress is with three generations of royals in full attendance. The Dutch royals have been very supportive of the couple and especially the Empress. The couple had an unprecedented private holiday in the Netherlands in 2006 by invitation of Queen Beatrix. Previous Message
With the flag of Japan being red and white and the Imperial standard being red and gold I don't think you are far fetched when you suggest Diamond and Ruby tiaras in addition to maybe Diamonds and Pearls. Luckily the Dutch collection has a lot of tiaras to chose from and I am so excited of the prospect of seeing 7 tiaras at the Royal Palace in Amsterdam on the Imperial Couple's State Visit to the Netherlands! It would be amazing if the Greek bandeau would make an appearance again!!
