So I was right for the Stockholm pearl Brooch on her hat !
Hans , this Week in an Auction at Drouot Paris, they sold 2 Pictures one of Queen Astrid with full jewellry (seems they took this picture for immortising the Head of the Queen) and one of Princess Lilian (who seems to wear around her Neck the diamonds of the 9 Province tiara) both 180 euros. Queen Astrid Portrait was unsold and Lilian's 630 euros + 33 %. Sad we cannot send private Messages on this Board.

Indeed, Lilian wore the pearl as brooch on her hat in 1959.
She wore the pearl also on a dress.
The base was worn, i think, as bracelet.
There is a very dramatic photo of Lilian in gala in the Royal Orangerie.

I think but am not sure this large pearl from the Stockholm tiara was seen on Princess Lilian Hat the day of Prince Albert Wedding . I had it in my note book I did when I was 14 years old . I send it as present to Queen Paola at Belvedère Castle Previous Message
