One of the very few times the Collar of the Order of St. Olav is worn these days... which I just think is so sad. I wish we got to see that more often, like the case with the Order of the Seraphim in Sweden. It is not worn for every State Banquet there either, but at least it is used more often.

Doe you mean worn for the taking of the oath in parliament. That is the collar of the Order of St. Olav and the sash of the Order of Merit
Haakon as well as King Harald have worn it always like this for the annual Opening of the Storting each October Previous Message
Could Kongetro or someone else give more informations about the Chain and the Blue Sash . Does only the King wear this Order.
They were near the Royal Coffin 4 Orders. On the right the Norvegian Orders and on the left two Orders in light Blue ??

I doubt Queen Mette-Marie would wear a tiara, I think she would go bare-headed. A cloth kokoshnik would be a copy of Queen Sonja but maybe she wants to keep that as a tradition.
But bareheaded is my guess, with her hair perhaps dressed in a way it won’t get disturbed when the Bishop lays his hands.
If she DID wear a tiara, which I doubt, I can imagine the diamond daisies as that tiara is so modest.
