Thank you for the wonderful photos Nellie. Obviously Princesses Elizabeth and Margaret wore more pearls when young than I had realised. Your photo from King George V's silver jubilee shows that Princess Elizabeth was wearing pearls but whether a three strand or a single strand necklace is unclear to me.
