    Duchess of Montpensier's Emerald (?) Necklace Archived Message

    Hello,

    while wandering on the net, I have found this picture of Princess Marie-Thérèse of Wurttemberg, Duchess of Montpensier, first wife of Prince Henri (VII) of Orleans, Count of Paris, current Head of the French Royal House (their civil marriage ended in a divorce in 1984, while their religious marriage was annulled in 2009).



    Does anyone know this emerald necklace? Has it already been seen on the Duchess? Do you know/think if it is a Wurttemberg heirloom? a loan?

    I do not know when this picture was taken (judging from the Princess' look, I would say late 1980s/1990s).
