I regret that the Queen did not opt for ruby jewels. With the red and white sash of the Singaporian Order of Temasek, Queen Victoria's Oriental Tiara and ruby and diamond necklace would have made a very nice combination.
The Girls of Great-Britain and Ireland's Tiara is very nice, and I am aware that its light weight makes it very comfortable to wear for the Queen, but it has been seen soooooo many times in the recent years that I would have hoped another choice...
It is also interesting to notice that Queen Elizabeth has worn this same tiara for her previous State visits to Singapore in 1989 and 2006:
It seems that the Duchess of Gloucester is wearing Princess Marie-Louise's sapphire, pearl and diamond tiara. I can not identify the jewels worn by the Countess of Wessex, by Princess Alexandra of Kent and by Princess Michael of Kent.
