I wonder if the Queen wears this necklace now? Camilla, D of Cornwall has the other slightly longer 3 row pearl necklace of QEQM.
Also the long 3 row necklace worn by the Queen for her mother`s 101st birthday trip to the Opera are obviously different again being so spaced apart. It seems it is going to be very hard to know for sure without seeing the clasps.

: As you say Bryce, Queen Mary`s necklace
: pictured when she was quite young is most
: likely but impossible to be really sure
: without seeing the clasp but still very
: probable.
: I did think the pearls the Queen wore to
: the Festival of Rememberance were the set in
: Angela Kelly`s book, as the length seemed
: about right & there ia alarge pearl in
: the clasp. I now see from Arthur`s post that
: the clasp indeed has a large pearl but that
: it is quite different being a large pearl
: either framed in smaller pearls or diamonds.
: This set seems to fit, at least from the
: front?? with pearls worn at the St James
: Palace reception for Royal Blind Society in
: 2013, Canberra, Australia 2011 & a few
: other events.
: The ones worn in 2000 to the Queen Mother`s
: 100th birthday at the Opera & later that
: year at the Vatican do appear the same to me
: too Baxter & in the photos definitely
: appear shorter but as we know photos can be
: deceptive & after a lot of pearl
: counting, I think they are a little shorter
: but are they the pearls in Angela Kelly`s
: book??
: There is at least one pearl in the clasp so
: it is possible or is this yet another pearl
: necklace?

: While it is impossible to tell, this may be
: a
: suitable candidate to match the Teck small
: pearls??
