I wonder if the pearl necklace worn by QEQM at the 1937 Coronation could be Queen Victoria Indian pearl necklace (the one with the ruby clasp). We know that this necklace is made of four rows of pearls, which are detachable, and we have seen the Queen or the Queen Mother wear this necklace either in a two-row or in a three-row version. Being a Crown's heirloom, it would have been perfectly fitting for the Coronation of a British Queen (and Empress of India ). Queen Elizabeth II wore this necklace notably in October 2012 at Covent Garden Royal Opera House. I wonder if the pearls worn by QEQM in 1937 could be the two longer rows worn by QEII in 2012: the gap between the two rows looks similar, and the number of pearls from the bottom of the necklace to the neck's curve is also similar (approx. 26/28).
