Dear Maridje, Thank you kind information given to us. I am very interested by the diamond tiara made for Queen Elizabeth in 1953. It was described in royals magazin. You also says : QEQM 1953 - Commissioned a diamonds diadem p. 348 Can you give us new information about this ? (the origin of this information) I now think that Field made a confusion between the purchase of a tiara and the transformation of the Greville tiara in the same year (1953). That is now my opinion. Indeed Royals describes very well this small tiara made for queen Elizabeth. Therefore it can be the truth.
