Yes. Sian Evans specifically writes: "Her will, dated 27 March 1942, makes fascinating reading." Lots of information about bequests to servants, members of her social circle, and family. Mrs Greville's estate would be worth 39,000,000 pounds in today's values (2013). I would agree that it makes sense to accept that Mrs Greville gave the three-strand pearls to the Queen in 1936 given the access the author has had.
