Searching for something completeley different I found a list of weddings gifts, given to Princess Margarethe of Prussia at her wedding with Friedrick Karl of Hesse in 1893. It was mentioned in an article about her wedding I found in a book about the court of Empress Auguste Viktoria. source: Eine Vermählung. In: Am Hofe der Kaiserin Auguste Viktoria, Berlin 1893, S. 259ff. The book is a collection of articles of life, religion, politics, the works of the empress and so on. Its not a scientific work, but interesting as a contemporary view of the empress and the world of that time in Germany. The wedding gifts are listed as citation from a news article, regrettably without the source.
So I found that: "Besonders reich hat die Mutter ihre Tochter bedacht. Ein großer Kasten enthält den köstlichen Schmuck von Brillanten und Smaragden, welche die Kaiserin Friedrich für die bräutliche Tochter hat anfertigen lassen. Diadem mit aufstehenden, birnenförmigen Smaragden, Halsband, Ohrgehänge, mehrere Broche, Armbänder. Der Bräutigam verehrte der Braut ein Etui mit fünf schweren Goldringen, von denen jeder mit großen Steinen einer anderen Farbe besetzt war. Der Landgraf von Hessen schenkte im Verein mit seiner Mutter einen großen Brustschmuck nebst Ohrgehängen aus großen Opalen und Brillanten. Se. Majestät der Kaiser gab, wie man hört, eine Rivère aus großen Brillanten. Die Geschenke der Königin von Großbritannien bestanden aus Honitonspitzen, indischen Shawls, einem großen silbernen Theeservice uns einem Kamm aus Schildpatt mit Brillanten und Türkisen. Der Großherzog von Sachsen hatte einen diademartigen Halbkamm verehrt. Der Prinz und die Prinzessin von Wales Armbänder von Türkisen und Brillanten, Ketten-Armbänder mit Fermoir von Brillanten waren vom König und der Königin von Italien da; ein grüner Sonnenschirm mit einem massiven Gold gefaßten Knopf aus Lapis-Lazuli von der Frau Erbprinzessin von Sachsen-Meiningen; ferner kostbare Gaben vom Kronprinzen und der Kronprinzessin von Griechenland. (...) Den Blick des Beschauers fesselt vornehmlich ein kronenartiges Diadem von massiv mattem Gold, mit Edelsteinen besetzt, im romantischen Stile mit einer Brosche und einem Halsbande, von dem in gedrängter Reihe schwarze, große Perlen herniederfallen. Das Ganze ist ein Meisterstück des berühmten Goldschmieds Castelain in Rom und war von dem damaligen Kronprinzen von Italien seinem Pathenkinde, Prinzessin Margarethe, als Taufgeschenk gegeben."
Translation: "Especially the mother has acknowledged her daughter richly. A big box contains the delightful jewellery of diamonds and emeralds which empress Friedrich has customized for the her bridal daughter. A Diadem with upstanding, pear-shaped emeralds, necklace, earrings, several brooches, bracelets. The groom venerated the Bride a case with five heavy gold rings, each of which was covered with large stones of a different color. The Landgrave of Hesse presented in association with his mother a big pectorals along with earrings of large opals and diamonds. His Majesty the emperors gave as have been heard a Rivère from big diamonds. The look of the beholder captivates primarily a crown-like tiara of solid matte gold, set with precious stones, in the romantic style with a brooch and a necklace, with a downfalling series of large black beads. The whole is a masterpiece of the famous goldsmith Castelain in Rome and was given by the than crownprince of Italy to his godchild, princess Margarethe, as a christening present."
