When I first saw the photo, I did think that the brooch was a Nizam Rose but, when I enlarged it, it looked to wide and flat (for lack of a better description).
I am not sure if I have therefore actually seen the largest (central ) Nizam Rose until now.
Here is a good photo of the tiara.
The side roses seem much deeper than the central rose - a 2 dimensional illusion no doubt. I assume the central rose is similar.
This brooch seems so wearable...a good size and I am sure lots of sparkle.
I wonder why HM does not wear if more often.
Maybe it is quite heavy??
I feel as if we have missed out seeing this one more often somehow??!!??
Does anyone have any other pictures of HM wearing the Central Nizam Rose - I'd love to see more!!
