Maridje, I wonder if the diamond clips worn by Queen(-Mother) Elizabeth in Paris in 1938 (on the first picture of your post) could be the ones later given to the Countess of Wessex, rather than the ones worn by Princess Margaret and Serena Linley.
I have noted in my files that Princess Margaret's diamond clips came from Queen Mary, and not from Queen Elizabeth - but I admit I have not noted the source for this information.
