writing a blog or website is one, publishing a book with any credibility ( collaboration from the royal house and experts) is another. But thank you for your thoughts and confidence. --Previous Message-- : Have you ever thought of using it as the basis : for a book? Publishers would certainly be : interested, but getting all the images free : for publication might prove to be expensive. : Still it would be worth while to get a real : book on the Orange Nassau jewels. Rene Brus : has written one book but it's more about the : history of the collection than on the : present day pieces and how they are worn. : : --Previous Message-- : Thank you Beth. I am afraid the website : received so many visitors that I needed to : spend (more) money on it and migrate to : another platform as the old FrontPage : extension was no longer supported by most of : the hosting companies. : : --Previous Message-- : I was interested to see John R's comment. I : did not recollect seeing other Dutch Royal : ladies with the same combination of jewels : as a brooch, but my knowledge of these : jewels is limited, and so I was not sure if : this was an unusual combination. : : Thank you John. : : John, I miss your very informative site. I : hope that some day you post it again, as : there is nothing to equal it. I, for one, : learnt so much from it. I was one of those : who respected your copyright and never : copied anything and so now I find myself at : a loss when I try to remember historical : details. : : : : :
