Similarity of Queen Alexandra's turquoise tiara to the Oriental circlet tiara Archived Message

Today, out of the blue, I realised that there are some similarities between the Oriental circlet tiara and Queen Alexandra's turquoise circlet tiara, now worn by Princess Astrid of Norway. It is the shape of the arches which has taken my eye. They are not the same but there is a similar shape. Of course, the elements in between are different.

As Trond Noren Isaksen initially provided the information that this turquoise tiara was inherited by Queen Maud from Queen Alexandra, I looked at his site, but he does not give information about when Queen Alexandra originally acquired this tiara or whether it was a gift or if the Queen commissioned it herself.
Does any one have additional information? As the shape of the arches is reminiscent of those in the Oriental circlet tiara, I am intrigued.
