Hello Franck and Beth, thank you to both of you for this interesting thread about Queen Elizabeth II's aquamarine bracelets. I fear, though, that I will be of no help on this particular matter. I don't want to draw hasty conclusions, and all the pictures posted of the 1957 film performance are either too small or too blurry (or both) for me to give a sure and assertive answer about the bracelet worn by the Queen. I can only say it does not look like the bracelet of the Brazilian aquamarine parure (which is coherent with the fact that the bracelet of the brazilian parure was given to the Queen only the following year, in 1958, according to the website "From Her Majesty's Jewel Vault"). Here are two more pictures (larger, but probably as blurry as the other pictures previously posted) of the 1957 film performance, with Queen Elizabeth II greeting actress Jayne Mansfield: On the other hand, I can confirm that the bracelets worn by the Queen on 11th November, 1954 for the Royal Variety Performance (picture posted by Beth, with the Queen wearing Queen Alexandra's Peeresses Kokoshnik) are indeed Queen Mary's pair of Indian diamond bangles. PS: sorry for this late answer, and for my absence of contribution to this board in the past weeks. I have been kept recently very busy with professional challenges, ingoing and outgoing family visits, pre-Christmas fuss and so on, so I had hardly any time to devote to this board (to my very own dismay!). But I'm perfectly fine!
