I agree! The central part of the tiara should be higher that the sides, and in the new version it happens exactly the opposite, as we can see very well from Malluu's pics (thank you Malluu!).
The tiara has now a depression at its center

: Exactly Stefan! I miss the central part. It's
: like the jeweler just started making it
: smaller without considering the artistic
    : design.

: True Queen ingrids version of the tiara
    : looked
: so much better and airier. i can understand
: that tje Crown pßricness removed some parts
: at the sides to make it more suitable for
: her headsize but i never understand why she
: needed to change the central parts.
: Specially the one wreath element which was
: sticking out in the middle aynd which was
    : removed.

: The Danish royal ladies looked beautiful! So
: pleased to see the ruby earrings in their
: full form. IMHO I preferred the tiara in the
: form the crown princess originally wore. It
: used to look magnificent but yesterday it
: looked like a pillbox hat. I realize that it
: is probably more comfortable and usable for
    : her now.

: She has worn them in full setting in the
    : first
: time after her marriage before she started
: to make change to the different peaces of
: the Parure. But in recent years she has
: rarely worn them in the full setting so i'm
: also pleased to see them like this again.
: Specailly as she ddn't use the necklace
    : yesterday.

: I'm pleased to see the girandole earrings
    : again !
    :
: I think it's only the second time she wore
: them in their full lenght.

    : Happy New Year !
