Queen Camilla is wearing the Belgian Sapphire Tiara and the George VI Sapphire Necklace while the Princess of Wales is in the Lotus Flower Tiara and the late Queen’s Antique Diamond Earrings for the Diplomatic Reception at Buckingham Palace tonight!

A little disappointing that the Queen Consort wears the same parure 2 times in a row. But good that she wears the necklace the right way + with the pendant this time

I understand what you mean but I do think the sapphires look really good with her light coloured hair. I'm looking foward to seeing her wear other coloured gems such as the Burmese Ruby Tiara and the Vladimir with emeralds.

I also hope the Princess of Wales someday will wear Queen Alexandra's Dagmar Necklace with the cross.

The last few times it has always been Queen Elizabeth II.anjd Phiulip (before he retired), Charles, Camilla, William and Catherine.
But a bit surprising that for an Event with so many guests there are only so few royals present compared to State Banquets when there are a few more and lesser guests.

Thank you for the wonderful pictures.

HM looks stunning in this parure.
The complete necklace looks stunning and the tiara (never one of my favourites before really) suits the Queen very well, better than Her late Majesty in my view.

My only negative point are (again) the earrings...

The earrings style is a mismatch with the George VI original set and the belgian tiara, and also
the saphires in the earrings are so much darker than the ones in the necklace and tiara, that have a perfect and most beautiful colour match.
Sorry to say, in my view these earrings simply don't work with the original saphire set/parure.
