Predictions on the Family Order of Charles III

So we already know that William is vehemently anti-ivory, so King Charles’ portrait will most likely not be painted on ivory. I suppose that leaves some sort of porcelain perhaps, or another white material.
I had this thought maybe he would repeat a ribbon color, and perhaps use the blue and red stripes of Edward VII instead of a pastel color as has been the custom since. What do you think?

We were told Catherine's Family Order used glass so I suppose that might be the material in future.

Very interesting, thank you Nellie. I suppose they will all be glass from now on. Perhaps we will see young Princess Charlotte get one in time for the coronation, there’s a precedent of children wearing them from Princess Elizabeth and Princess Margaret, who I believe received their grandpapa’s for his Silver Jubilee.

Why would Zara Tindall receive one? I thought only working royal ladies receive a family order? Did the late queen's niece, Lady Sarah Armstrong Jones- Chatto, receive one? Might HRH Princess Michael receive one?

When I mentioned any more of the QEII family orders I was feeling sentimental for the previous reign. The late Queen did not grant any honours lightly but I was hoping she might have felt like honouring some more ladies of the family as a mark of affection and valued personal support. A bit of wishful thinking on my part.

The new reign might be more gender neutral and life peerages are a possibility. Whichever way that goes I think the King will reward working royals only. If there is a CIII Family Order for ladies I believe it would include the Duchess of Gloucester and Princess Alexandra.
