May 6 happens to be my birthday. As I am hosting a little lunch for my friends and a boattrip afterwards, I shall not be able to watch any part of this once in a lifetime coronation and can only hope for extensive YouTube registration afterwards . The same happened in 1960 when The Princess Margaret married, but then I was too young to care .... Previous Message I am by habit an early riser so I will be up and ready at 06:00 New York time to watch the ceremony, I’ll be tuned in even earlier for whichever stations have pre-ceremony coverage. I’m going to make scones with cream and jam, and later in the day will make Coronation Chicken. How about you?

Since the ceremony will be televised at 5 a.m. my time (Central Time), I will either luckily wake up in time or oversleep to watch it, therefore I already asked someone in the family to DVR the ceremony for me to watch in the early summer in case I miss any part of it when I oversleep. No special celebrations will be planned by me or the family in recognition of that event. Just rising early to see it live on television is enough! Coverage in my area starts at 3 a.m. Instead of staying up all night, I have decided to watch it later in the afternoon. My daughter bought some "Coronation Tea" and will make scones served with clotted cream and jam. No quiche with beans, though Previous Message I am by habit an early riser so I will be up and ready at 06:00 New York time to watch the ceremony, I’ll be tuned in even earlier for whichever stations have pre-ceremony coverage.
