Queens cullinan

QEii cullinan diamond, the heart shaped one, used to be the old no 5, I have never adjusted to the new numbering, is centre front on Queen Camillas crown.

Which other cullinan were to be in her crown and how many cullinans were to be used?

I'm not aware of any new numbering.
We were told numbers III, IV and V would be used.

III was on the cross on the top.
IV was on the band, centre front.
V was still in its brooch and on the front cross element.

I fear we will never again see any of these worn as brooches.

I did not recognise the diamond in the band and your pic gave me a clearer look at the cross and diamond.

I think they will have been made detachable and will have the rock crystal replicas in for display

Wills - I doubt it because there was such a reluctance to allow any royal lady to do her usual jewels thing for a grand occasion - and for the adoring public!
I think there could be a new approach to grand jewels in this reign.
Those Cullinans are possibly too grand now.
I hope I am wrong!

Queen Camilla might possibly wear the "new" crown without arches for State Openings of Parliament. With the Cullinan V brooch in the central cross element that would be acceptable.
The unfortunate rejigged arches can be left off forever. I doubt the scrolls of the arches can be repaired effectively.
In design and appearance Queen Mary's crown was the most beautiful one with a floating effect at the top.

This crown could be renamed. It is certainly not Queen Mary's any more. (I have copied the current details in the Royal Collection online portrayal to save the record.)

It could become Queen Camilla's Crown 2023.
Or Queen Consort's Crown 2023 maybe.

we’ll see if it actually fits her for Parliament, because it looked quite large on Camilla’s head even with the Cap of Maintenance tucked under it. I wonder if it would slip down too far.

Isn#ät tehre a State Opening of Parliemant soon?. Anyway i would prefer Queen Camilla in the State Diadem for it.
As for the name perhaps the could name it Queen Marys and Queen Camilla crown. Only Queen Camillas crown i find wrong.
