Will this bandeau go back to the main line after the princess’s passing? It’s a substantial piece and very wearable. As it is, it appears the golden bandeau, and the ruby and diamond hair ornaments/aigrettes will stay with Astrid’s family, so if there are any white tie events her daughters will have tiaras, one each.

Just wanted to share a couple of «new» photos I recently found of the diamond bandeau worn as a hairband:
CP Martha in Belgium, 1934, and Martha’s granddaughter Elisabeth Ferner at King Harald and Queen Sonja’s 80th birthday gala dinner, 2017.
As I have understood various articles and blogs, CP Martha’s diamond bandeau will stay with Princess Astrid’s family. I guess the historic jewels her daughters have worn, will stay with the family, but only time will tell.
