Sophie Evekink is wearing the Bavarian Sapphire Floral Tiara for Wedding to Prince Ludwig of Bavaria today! In the evening, a White Tie and Tiara Ball will be held at Schloss Schleißheim. The Bavarian Sapphire Floral Tiara has been worn by his grandmother, sisters and sister-in-law at their Weddings.

It's a beautiful piece and the bride looks radiant wearing it. I've read she'll change her gown to a light blue dress for the evening and hopefully with the same diadem. Royal and Noble Guests attended the spectacular Wedding Ball of Prince Ludwig of Bavaria and Sophie-Alexandra Evekink at Schloss Schleißheim last night! Princess Sophie wore the Bavarian Sapphire Floral Tiara The Duchess of Braganza wore Queen Amélie’s Diamond Tiara while Infanta Maria Francisca was wearing the Duchess of Braganza’s Floral Necklace Tiara. The Duke in Bavaria was accompanied by Duchess Marie-Caroline in Bavaria, Duchess Philipp of Württemberg (wearing the Douglas Floral Tiara)    Duchess Elisabeth in Bavaria (wearing the Pearl and Diamond Floral Tiara) was joined by the Landgravine of Hesse (in the Hesse Star Tiara). Archduchess Eilika of Austria wore her Aquamarine Pendant The  Princess of Prussia wore the Prussian Meander Tiara The Margravine of Baden was wearing the Baden Sunburst Tiara  Hereditary Princess Kelly of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha wore the Saxe-Coburg and Gotha Turquoise Tiara Princess Ekaterina of Hanover was wearing the Hanoverian Floral Tiara The Princess of Oettingen-Oettingen und Oettingen-Spielberg wore the Oettingen-Spielberg Tiara And Princess Maria-Anunciata of Liechtenstein wore Princess Margaretha’s Sapphire Necklace

I took some pics of the Duchess and her daughter. But i will need some time to go through them Previous Message Thank you very much! Splendid event! Are there any picture of The Duchess of Braganza wearing her wedding tiara at this event, please? Sadly I could'nt find any yet. It is very unusual for the Duchess to wear her "grand" tiara for events abroad. It could be the first time, I believe. She usually wears the small diamond bandeau or the floral necklace tiara, here worn by her daugther. Years ago in Sweden she wore Queen Amélia's diamond choker as a tiara. Infanta Maria Francisca also wore the matching earrings to the Floral Necklace Tiara . I am guessing wich tiara will Infanta Maria Francisca wear at her own wedding on October 7th in Lisbon. Stefan

Priscilla's aunt Constance (IIRC) wore that tiara at her own wedding. I think Yolande wore it as well in her 20s --so I'd agree it might be a Ligne piece. Not a very pretty tiara, in my opinion. Priscilla wore her Grand Mother born Yolande de Ligne tiara , her mother wore it on her Wedding day. Previous Message Priscilla's aunt Constance (IIRC) wore that tiara at her own wedding. I think the pearl bandeau might be owned by Archduke as it was worn by his first wife Francesca. As for the tiara of Archduchess Priscilla it my have been an Ligne piecae but it now always worn by Archduchess Yolande, her daughter-in-law Marie-Hélène and her daughter-in-laws for their Weddings so probably it now owned by Yolande Previous Message I don't understand . Archduchess Gabriela is the High Protectress of the Order of the Starry Cross. She does not wear her Order either? Thank you for posting those great photos Stefan! It is good to see that the tiaras still available to the German non-ruling and noble families are still being used at events like this. The Duchess of Braganza looked absolutely lovely and her daughter too. I wonder if they will throw a party like this in Portugal for when the Infanta gets married.
