My hope/wish…… Mathilde: Spanish crown with aquamarines Elisabeth: Vestey tiara Astrid: savoy aosta tiara Claire: pearl tiara Paola: diamond bandeau Previous Message Tonight will be a banquet at Chateau de Laecken hosted by the King and Queen of the Belgians for the King and Queen of the Netherlands. Im not sure if any other royal ladies (the heiresses) will attend. So im sticking to my guesses for Mathilde and Maxima. Mathilde is probably going to wear the tiara of the Provinces. Hopefully in it's larger setting. Ideally we'd see her in the Spanish Wedding Gift tiara but i've lost hope to ever see that piece on a Belgian Royal again. Maxima has more options. She wore the Mellerio tiara for the Belgian State Visit to the Netherlands so im hoping she'll wear something else. Ideally Queen Emma's diamond tiara with the 5 stars on top, but the ornate pearl tiara would also be nice to see again. Both would work on her green dress and that would work with the colour of the Belgian order. Princess Astrid might attend either in the bandeau of Queen Elisabeth or in her husband's family tiara.

For Queen Mathilde would be my wish for the spanish Wedding gift tiara in whichever Version but i also have up hope that we will ever see her wearing it. Realistic she will wear the Nine-Provinces tiara in it's full setting and i would like to see her with the necklace she wore last year i Norway or their Wolfers necklace Princess Astrid as usual in the Savoy-Aosta tiara and i hope that also Princess Claire and i would like to see her in her Wedding tiara which we haven't seen for about 15 years Queen Máxima is the most difficult to predict given the big selection in the dtuch vault. At the moment the Stuart tiara seems to be her favourite and i would like to see her with in the full setting with it's namegiving diamond again. Just thought that if the Dutch collection would still have a Cameo tiara i'd love to see that with the gold dress tonight. Chateau de Laecken would need air-conditioning for that because in Amsterdam it still is over 20 degrees after the first rain in weeks. I might be wrong but as far as i can see Maxima is wearing the same version of the House Diamond tiara as in Sweden, meaning without the central Stuart diamond but with one of the larger round diamonds in the middle and the two smaller round diamonds on either side. Im glad she is wearing it with the House Diamond necklace though. I'd like her to make the second round diamond a brooch that the Stuart diamond can hang from as a pendant. With the tiara, necklace and the bow brooch/stomacher that would make a very wearable set. Queen Mathilde is wearing the the Nine Provinces Tiara, Diamond Fringe Earrings, and the Wolfers Necklace and Queen Máxima is in the House Diamond Tiara (without the Stuart as originally thought) and Necklace for tonight’s State Banquet at the Royal Chateau of Laeken!

Splendid! Great to see Maxima wearing the House Diamonds. Very appropriate I think. The only thing missing on Maxima is perhaps a diamond brooch on her sash but I am not complaining: absolutely stunning today! Mathilde looks nice with this combination of more modern diamond jewels. Personally not a fan of her outfits today. Perhaps the court jeweller can create two small diamond clusters to fill the gaps between the last two prongs on either side for when this setting is used? It would be worthwhile I think.
