I may be wrong, but I understand from the reading of Rosenborg Castle's website and of the Danish monarchy's website that only four of the parures exhibited in Rosenborg are considered as "Crown Jewels" and, as such, are at the disposal of the Danish Queens: the emerald parure, the diamond parure (diamond drop necklace with matching earrings and bouquet corsage brooch), the other diamond parure (two diamond rivieres and three diamond brooches, combining into one bigger corsage brooch) and the ruby, pearl and diamond set. So the other jewels (including the ones shown on the picture in JohnPete's initial post) would be "mere" museum exhibits, and not available for the Danish Queens. Just a guess, though, not a certainty...
Thank you, Arthur, for posting these pictures of the lovely parures.

It says: “Today, the crown jewels consist primarily of four large jewellery sets, also known as garnitures: a brilliant-cut diamond set, an emerald set, a pearl-ruby set and a rose-cut diamond set.”
It says consist primarily. So does anyone have a idea of what is included in the Crown Jewels besides the mentioned parures? Is there a list of items?
