The Queen looked magnificent in those blazing diamonds. She was also wearing a substantial Diamond bracelet for the occasion. It was touching to see both the King and the Queen so emotional at the banquet. They have really been great representatives for Malaysia and I believe they have done a wonderful job.
I must say that I am looking forward to the events in connection with the installation of the next King. Hopefully there will be a lot of coverage and splendid photographs of the new King and Queen but also all the other guests attending.
As the installation is tomorrow I suppose we will see this tiara again very soon.

The Raja Permaisuri Agong (Queen of Malaysia) wore the Gandik Diraja Tiara and the Kalung Diraja Necklace for the final time [she may briefly wear it on the 30th, but this is the final big appearance] at a Farewell Banquet tonight , ahead of the end of the King’s 5-year tenure on January 30th.
