Ten days ago, on Thursday, 18th January, the Grand-Duke of Luxembourg hosted a New Year's reception for the Diplomatic corps accredited to the Grand-Duchy of Luxembourg, the European Union institutions based in Luxembourg, the Luxembourg Government and Parliament, the Cardinal-Archbishop of Luxembourg, as well as for other various official guests.
Grand-Duke Henri was accompanied by Grand-Duchess Maria-Teresa, Hereditary Grand-Duke Guillaume, Hereditary Grand-Duchess Stéphanie, Prince Louis of Luxembourg, Princess Alexandra of Luxembourg and her husband M. Nicolas Bagory.
The Grand-Duchess wore the Belgian Scroll Tiara with the earrings and the bracelet of Grand-Duchess Joséphine-Charlotte's Aquamarine Demi-Parure, and another bracelet which I can not identify:
Hereditary Grand-Duchess Stéphanie wore the Laurel Sapphire Tiara and the sapphire drop earrings:
Princess Alexandra wore the Vine-Leaf diamond tiara and small pearl and diamond earrings:
Non jewellery related question. I note you write “Princess Alexandra of Luxembourg and her husband M. Nicolas Bagory”. But is her title still Princess after she married a commoner?

The days that royal or noble women lost their titles upon marriage to a commoner are long gone in Europe.

Considering that she appeared on this New Year ceremony, organised for the Diplomatic corps and all the official civil and clerical authorities of the Grand-Duchy (so, something definitely State-related, and not just a family gathering), wearing a tiara and the sash and star of the Order of the Golden Lion of the House of Nassau, I think we can safely assume that she is still considered as a Princess of Luxembourg, and that she was not demoted because of her marriage to a mere commoner status...

Thank you for posting these wonderful photos from that glittering event. All the ladies looked great in their tiaras and earrings... but yes, I do hope that this trend of not wearing necklaces at these few white-tie events ends rather sooner than later. Kongetro
The princess is still a dynastic member and is in the line of succession. Her children will precede their uncle HRH prince Sebastien. The grand duke has chosen not to give her husband a title im curious to see if her baby will be HH prince(ss) xx of Nassau or mr/miss Bagory. the princess has been the acted third lady of the country for years and has even stepped in for her mother on a State Visit her father made to Japan. She has been part of official events since she came of age.

Grand-duchess Maria-Teresa wore the two aquamarine bracelets, one of them is convertible into a bandeau, the other one is a single large band paved with diamonds and centered on a central square cut big aquamarine.
Hereditary Grand-Duchess Stéphanie looked absolutely stunning jewel wise. A bit subdued which in my eyes make her look regal and confident in her role.

As Grand Duchess she will wear the big tiara at its best as Grand Duchesses Charlotte and Josephine Charlotte did before her.
