This pic was new to me also, thank you Josefine. The Princess looks wonderful - and I suspect your are correct she may wear a brooch as hair ornament - one from the amethyst-parure possibly? Previous Message I thought it was a beautiful portrait. Maybe it is a case of "less is more".

What a lovely portrait of the Princess! Thank you for share it here. Apart from the tiara it gives us a lovely "close-up" of the often used Diamond brooch of hers. I wonder what the rest of the caption said by the way... From what we can see it says that it is a "...unusual-combination-of-a tiara-and-s..." Well, to my eyes there is not anything unusual about this combination - at all! Do the brooches princess Cristina is wearing have benn stolen with the Cerdregen tiara or is she still owning them ? I wonder if the caption stated, "unusual combination of tiara and sunglasses"? I had viewed this photo a long time ago on a now defunct Forum and can't remember the occasion Christina was attending. The both brooches she inherited from Queen Louise were not mentioned in the list of missing jewels.
