Royalfashionpolice has this photo of a brooch belonging to Princess Marie of Denmark. They mention it beeing a Trifari (vintage?) brooch. I am not familiar with the company so I Googled it and found that they were doing costume jewelry in the days.
Yes, it’s a (signed) costume piece. The design dates back to 1945. Vermeil, glass cabochons and small rhinestones. Here is a link to an example of the same design in sterling silver.
