Sad news - though of course not unexpected at such an old age. May she rest in peace, after a long and well-fulfilled life.
I guess that Countess Marianne's signature pearl and diamond tiara will be inherited by her daughter and grand-children (from her first marriage with Chinese diplomat Gabriel Chang), as this tiara had been presented to her by her mother-in-law, so it has no connection with the Swedish royal family. The same for her "fan-shaped" diamond brooch, I have read that it was a personal purchase, so Marianne's descendants will probably get it too. I don't know how wealthy they are, and if they have, even rarely, the use of a tiara or of a diamond brooch/pendant. It would not be surprising if these jewels end up at auction within a few months...
On the other hand, I have read that the amethyst and gold parure that Countess Marianne occasionally wore came from Princess Therese, Duchess of Dalarna (wife of Prince August of Sweden, youngest son of King Oskar I). If this is true, it would be great that this parure is bequeathed to King Carl XVI Gustaf or Crown Princess Victoria, or even better to the Bernadotte Foundation.
I am also curious about an impressive pair of diamond bracelets that Countess Marianne wore on some gala occasions. It is difficult to say with certainty, as I have no clear close-up pictures, but these bracelets seem of Art Deco style, with a chain of square motifs and a larger central element. I do not know the origin of these bracelets, but they are certainly worthy of a Queen of Sweden...
