Fife tiara sighting!

The younger son of the duke of Fife got married this week-end. His bride wore the fringe tiara that originally belonged to Princess Louise, the Princess Royal.

Thanks for sharing that, Cynthia. It is great to see old family jewels being worn, if only occasionally.

Although, I must admit that reading the subject line had me excited that "the" Fife tiara with its stunning pear-shaped diamonds had been spotted on a lady's head!

That one seems to go to the future duchesses on their wedding day. I remember seeing it at the 2002 V&A exhibit, and wow. What a set of stones.
