We know that Queen Silvia has access to a huge amount of jewellery. And we see her wear many different pieces. But obviously the Queen must have her favourites and some pieces are worn more than others. I came across a couple of older photographs in my hunt for something else where the Queen is wearing pieces I have not seen on her before.
The first one is a brooch, which actually looks rather substantial. Has anybody seen the Queen wear this at another event:
And the second one is the pendant worn on the Diamond rivière here:
The first brooch is stunning. The pendants hanging from the riviere might be the 2 large diamond drops worn as earrings.

Another better view of the brooch. The occasion was the 5th Night of "Nuit de l'Enfance" (Childhood Night) on 18th November 1997 in Versailles (an annual charity event organized by the "Fondation pour l'Enfance" [Foundation for Childhood] long-time chaired by Anne-Aymone Giscard d'Estaing, wife [and now widow] of former French president Valéry Giscard d'Estaing).
Unfortunately, I can not spot any other wearing of this brooch, though it looks lovely.
