It would be really great if Queen Elisabeth's Art Deco bandeau was to be inherited by the Duchess of Brabant. Queen Paola has one daughter, two daughters-in-law and 13 grandchildren. Her jewel collection is not large enough to leave to all of them important pieces. As HM is not attending any great events anymore it would be nice if she was to loan her larger pieces to those who do attend. Maybe she can start a foundation. The diamond and ruby floral brooch might be hotly contested by the granddaughters since it’s delicate and pretty! Paola’s two modest diamond necklaces, however. As there are so few Jewels in the belgian Vaults i guess it would not go unnoticed if these Congo diamonds wopuld appear either in the oringal setting (i thinnk there was never a pics so nodoiy knows how they look like) or in a new setting Previous Message Do you think Congan gifts would just be sitting around instead of having the stones reset? Would it be even possible if one would like to reset the diamonds gfited to Paola that are now part of the Royal dotation? Apparently they are only collecting dust.
