Wessex tiara

Can someone photoshop the tiara without the lower-central-element. Then it would become a tiara with 3 identical motifs and perhaps with pearshaped pearl upright between it?

I agree that Hans' suggestion would make a (more) successful and elegant design - especially with upright pear-shaped pearls between the diamond elements. Not a very big tiara, but an elegant-looking one, a bit similar to Princess Benedikte of Denmark's pearl and diamond tiara. Unfortunately, I fear this is not possible, as the Wessex tiara has already been altered in 2019 (for the US State visit to the UK), when a lateral part of each side element was removed to bring the lateral anthemions closer to the two central elements. I don't know if the removed elements were saved, or if their diamonds were reset in the new base of the tiara. I think it was the last time the Wessex tiara was publicly seen (please, correct me if I’m wrong about this). Previous Message Can someone photoshop the tiara without the lower-central-element. I think it should be left as it is now. Well worth the improvements to the base. The elements have a history. They were alternate elements for Queen Victoria's Regal Circlet. My best images now and before.

I believe the elements were intended to be used on a circlet. So why not put them back on a circlet base? The lower part was intended to hold a large stone (Koh I Noor?) but why not use the large aquamarine from her necklace/tiara. That central element might be replaced by a new element, maybe a version of the sapphire brooch of Prince Albert so she has a sapphire tiara to go with her Demi-parure. If the central element became interchangeable like the Gloucester tiara Sophie could alter it from event to event. She would need a serious set of aquamarines to go with the new circlet though. I'd rather see her swap the piece for the Russian sapphire bandeau or Queen Mary's diamond bandeau. That central element can be taken out and so something else could go in it's place. Previous Message Actually, I think the best option is to dismantle it completely and reuse the stones to create something completely new. There is no history left in the elements disassociated from the QV regal circlet which, itself, was dismantled to create the Queen Mother's Crown.
