Engagement Ring estimation : 19.000 euros sold 34.000 euros Semi parure aquamarines and diamonds : estimation 40.000 euros sold 180.000 euros Previous Message I think much more than the estimation because it was worn by a Royal. I noticed that never the Kings of the Belgians bought back jewels from their family sold at Auctions.

They coud have had more money if it was sold in London or Paris by big Auction Houses Previous Message I saw it in live . It always reminds me a little bit of the Spanish set of the Infanta. It became clear that the pendant always has been part of the sautoir. I doubt other buyers would have payed a higher premium just because it was owned by Fabiola. The jewels were not spectacular, the royal provenance was thin and Fabiola wasn't an international icon of her day.
