Re: Still listen to Santana IV?
I just bought the album a few weeks ago so, of course, I'm still checking in out quite a bit. I enjoy it a great deal, far more than anything else that's come out in nearly 20 years, probably since Santana Brothers. Most of the material is pretty solid. To me the track "Fillmore East" really stands out the most. The whole psychedelic, experimental style gives the song an edge that comes closest to the earlier sound of, say, "Caravanserai," "Love, Devotion, & Surrender," "Welcome," & "Borboletta." It's also great to hear Gregg's voice again, especially in "Blues Magic." Hopefully there's more like this in store for us down the road.
