One Como Va Live 75 - 90

Has anyone else bought this box set ? Took a punt as at around $40 for 19 cds it seemed like a no-brainier. It comes in a sturdy box with each cd contained in a separate cardboard sleeve, each with its own unique artwork. Venue info & track listings are for the most part accurate (although the labels on cds 7& 8 are mixed up). Anyway, in answer to the question, have these shows been 'remastered', the answer is definitely yes. Now, while I'm sure Jim Gaines is still getting a good nights sleep, these cds sound much 'meatier' than the copies I already own (like most I have all of these shows from a previous trading life). For example when I compare the commercially released Bottom Line show from 1978 on All Access, it pales compared to the version here. Same goes when compared to the other 'silver' boots I've got (esp. Sunrise 1988). So while not necessarily up to the standard of a major label release, and not every show sonically perfect (Tokyo 1983), these shows are far superior to the versions that have been previously in circulation. So now it's back to a stomping version of 'Oneness'......
