I've listened to the entire album three times now. I like it very much as a whole. Like others have said, there's waaay too much Buika. I guess Buika singing on every song adds continuity to the album but I would have liked to have heard a different voice on a couple songs if they were all going to be vocals. I know she's a legend but she seems to have one tonal center and doesn't vary far from it at all. That's my only critcism though. I'm glad Carlos broke out of his self imposed pop tunes prison and did something different and innovative. He seems to have fallen in love with his treble pickup and wah wah pedal though.
I'm curious as to how well this album will sell in the US with so many non-English songs. International sales should be good but I can't see this album being Top 40 radio and jukebox friendly in most of the USA.
