I just watched (what I believe to be) Chep's latest performance on you tube, friends got together and celebrated his 76th birthday last year, the video was uploaded 5 months ago. If anyone knows of a more recent video please let us know. He still plays with great rhythm and accuracy, but doesn't display the same fire and chops. They play Black Magic Woman/Gypsy Queen/O Ye Como Va, Let The Children Play/Jugando. It doesn't appear to be a real serious gig, very informal and loosly organized, just a get together with a few musicians and friends, so maybe that's why he didn't really turn it on. I'm just glad he's still playing, and hope to see more videos of him.
