Steve L,
you are right. Having suicidaL thoughts and having actual plans to commit suicide are two completely different things. At least in Denmark. If you say to your doctor/psuchologist/psychiatrist that you have suicidal thoughts it is a red flag warning, but it doesnīt mean you will get committed to a psychiatric unit.
However, if you express concrete detailed plans of how you want to commit suicide you get committed, either voluntarily or by force.
I speak from experience when my PTSD and anxiety went through the roof during the COVID pandemic. I spent 17 days in a psychiatric hospital, and grim as that experience was, it was not the slightest like "One flew over the cuckoos nest" with non stop screaming psychotic people. During my 2 1/2 weeks there I did not hear people raise their voices once or experience dangerous inmates. I was positively surprised by that. That being said, I was in an open unit and allowed access outside the hospital. Patients in closed units face a much more horrifying ordeal.
Luckily through therapy with a psychotherapist I am making small steps forward and hope my life will have more light in the years to come.
Carlosī old spiritual, calming music has helped me through many difficult times. Previous Message
If I saw an actual video clip of him saying that he tried to commit suicde 7 times I would be apt to believe it, but the author or AI sinply writing it makes me highly skeptical.. I'm sure he went through some dark times after his divorce, and may have even thought of suicide, but thinking about it and actually attempting it are ywo completely different things. I can't imagine having PTSD and have 100% empathy for someone that does. I hope you can have a positive outcome and your future is bright ! Previous Message
If like you say a person fabricates stories like this, then he he/she deserves punishment. Jail time if you ask me. You just donīt ridicule mental health issues. I myself suffer from PTSD.
However, here is one of the links where I read about it.

If you google Carlos and suicide you get zero matches, there is a video on you tube that seems very fake. It's probably the same people that post videos every few months about his death. Previous Message
To my big horror over the last day I have both read and seen videos on Youtube claiming Carlos tried to commit suicide seven times in the aftermath to his divorce from Deborah.
Is that truth or fiction - does anybody know the truth?
If true, that must have meant Carlos would have been committed to a psychiatric hospital for period(s), which would have been truly horrendous.
Luckily for him he can turn to music as a form of healing himself from such traumas.
