I, too, have the original vinyl record and the CD with the addtional track. I totally agree that it's so very much out of place there as far as the ablum concept goes; it's just a complete 360, but I do love it. Folk like to make fun of it when it's play 'cause it's kind of bubble-gummy (the music anyhow) to them. I've never thought that.

I actually took this CD to one of our popular high-end audio/video stores to audition the Luxman amplifier I wanted to (and did) purchase. Although I played about three tracks, the one I really wanted to hear was the intro to I Am What I Am with VOLUME (and the correct amount of bass and treble-always important). I was completely blown away and walked out of the dealer with my Luxman Amp. Thank you Dame Shirley.
