Why would I care to elaborate when you’ve proved what you’re like yourself by posting a new comment that mentions my name. When Shirley appeared at any RVP performance she usually changed her gown for the end lineup. Nothing to do with a broken zipper. They also didn’t know how the gown would perform during rehearsal as Shirley didn’t try the gown on. It clearly was a favourite of hers though as she wore it quite a few times for various concerts and tv appearances.
