I recall reading an interview from round about the time of the 40th anniversary in which DSB said she was disappointed a proposed concert with Plácido Domingo never happened. I wonder if this was the Christmas in Vienna concert that took place with José Carreras and Diana Ross. Do any trivia lovers have any information as to why this never happened? Could it be the prospect of singing only festive songs put Dame Shirley off?
