Lately, I have been avidly pursuing great western films. Can't get enough. I recently treated myself to the Budd Boetticher/Randolph Scott films. I was really surprised with how much fun it was to watch some of these films that had previously been under my radar. "Seven Men From Now" was an awesome western, really good. "The Tall T", "Comanche Station" & "Ride Lonesome" were also very good. These films were loaded with western actor standards! Richard Boone, Pernell Roberts, James Coburn, Lee Marvin and others. Check out these films if you have never came across them before. A treat. I have also been revisting some Anthony Mann films, finally watching "Bend Of The River". Next on my must see list would be "The Tin Star". Looks interestingly different. What other underrated westerns should be on a must see list?
