I lived right behind our neighborhood, second run theatre, the Rosele (Rose-a-lee) and this is the first movie I ever saw alone, when I was 8. Saw a lot of films alone as I didn't just go when it was a youth oriented film; it didn't matter to me what was on the screen, I usually went weekly, and my friends didn't have much interest in 'Dr. Zhivago' or 'Anne of the Thousand Days.' I just loved the whole experience.
'Shenandoah' has been in my top 5 forever; this scene is my favorite. My eyes still water every time at the end of this great film.
