Not familiar with that title, Virg, I'll have to check it out. My fav Dana Andrews movie is, 'The Best Years Of Our Lives.' My dvd machine died a few weeks ago and it's given me a chance to revisit the several hundred VHS titles I'm still hanging on to. Watched 'Tobacco Road' this past weekend and I'll be dogged- there was Dana Andrews. Been so long since I've seen it, forgot all about him being in it.

I'm sure your familiar w/ the movie. The scene where Sister Bessie takes a liking to young Dude (who has no interest,) and tries to get him to sit down on the blanket with her, is almost unwatchable on my tape from so many replays over the years. I'm LOL right now picturing her jerking his leg out from under him and causing him to fall down on the blanket. HA!!
